Matt Brewery at the corner of Court and Varick Streets in Utica.

August 22, 2012 It's the Empire State's signature event and one of the best family values available anywhere. It's the Great New York State Fair and it opens tomorrow at the fairgrounds in Syracuse. Great food, midway rides, music and exhibits ranging from agriculture to horticulture to prize winning chickens, cows and goats await visitors from all over the state and beyond. Country music fans have a choice of top artist to choose from in the grandstand and Chevy Court.
