It's the time of year for peeping some leaves. Looking at fall foliage can relieve a lot of stress and make you forget about all the troubles you're having in your life, even if it's temporarily. One of the best spots to do this is Inlet, NY high atop Rocky Mountain.

As you travel North on NY-Route 12, you'll want to merge on to NY-Route 28 towards Old Forge. Once you're on that road just keep going all the way to Water Safari and beyond. Eventually, Old Forge will turn into Eagle Bay and then to Inlet. On the left hand side of Route 28 you will see a sign for Rocky Mountain/Black Bear Mountain. Either one is a good climb, but if you're looking for something fun and quick, you'll want to hike Rocky Mountain. Not only is it a fun ascent and a good way to get some exercise, but the view of the Fulton Chain of Lakes is breath taking, especially to see the foliage. My girlfriend Dallas and I went and had an awesome time. I bet you will as well.
