Will the Yankees advance to the American League Championship games? That's the question we want answered during the "Frog Days of Fall". We'll find out tonight when the Yankees are back home to host the Detroit Tigers in the final game five of the AL Division Series, broadcast on TBS at 8 p.m.

The Yanks will send the big righthander, rookie Ivan Nova to mound, while the Tigers will start righthander Doug Fister. The winner of tonight's game will advance to the AL League Championship series, where they'll face Texas  on Saturday, October 8th, to be broadcast on FOX-TV. The location of game one of the series to be determined by the outcome of tonight's game.

The League Championship series is four games out of seven, just like the World Series. In fact, there have been some years where the AL and NL League Championship games have been more exciting than the World Series. (Remember when the Red Sox swept the Cardinals four games to none in the 2004 World Series, right after that exciting AL Championship Series with the Yankees)?

Baseball fever continues.
