67 years after it's making, the Christmas Movie Classic 'It's A Wonderful Life' is getting the sequel treatment.  Variety reports the movie will focus on George Bailey's grandson and will be titled, 'It's A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story.'  Click for details.

In the Variety article, writer Dave McNary says the sequel is shooting for a 2015 release and producers intend to keep the story's feeling of good-will.

Karolyn Grimes, who played George Bailey’s daughter “Zuzu” in the original, will return for the “Wonderful Life” sequel as an angel who shows Bailey’s unlikeable grandson (also named George Bailey) how much better off the world would have been had he never been born.

Despite the original films lack of immediate box office success, 'It's A Wonderful Life' went on to become a holiday must-see and continues to be ranked as one of the most loved movies of all time.  It was not only critically acclaimed (5 Oscar nominations), the movie is credited with developing the best falling fake snow.
