Is Shania Twain Joining Dancing With the Stars?

Will Shania Twain be on the new season of 'Dancing with the Stars?' That's the rumor.

When asked if she'd ever take part in the show during a Facebook Q&A, Shania replied 'I'd consider it.' It's not confirmation but it sounds positive.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com, 'Those at DWTS are very confident that Shania Twain will join the show in its next season. She is very, very, very close to signing on the show.'

Shania can move too. Not only does she show off her dance steps during her Caesar's Palace show, she's often seen dancing in her videos.

Several country stars have already donned their dancing shoes. Sara Evans, Chuck Wicks, Billy Ray Cyrus, who we learned has two left feet, Bill Engvall, and Kellie Pickler who won her season.

Season 19 of DWTS kicks off on Sept. 15. We should learn this year's cast in the coming weeks.

Since Shania's show in Vegas is coming to an end, it would make sense for Shania to take part in this season.  She has some time on her hands and it'd be a good way to promote any new music or a possible future tour.
