Sara Evans is alive and well, she assures her fans. It seems there was confusion recently when a 16-year-old from Ohio with a similar name was involved in a car accident, causing some to worry about the country singer's well-being.

Sara Evans joined Rascal Flatts for the first couple months of this year for their Thaw Out 2012 Winter Tour, along with opening act Hunter Hayes. The tour made a successful run and wrapped Feb. 18 in New Jersey. And while the most of the excitement may be over, Evans still has much to be excited about. September 3, 2011 Most of us look at Labor Day weekend with mixed emotions. We like the fact that it is a three day weekend but a little saddened by the realization that summer is pretty much over. Sara Evans, on the other hand, looks forward to it for both reasons. She likes the long weekend aspect of Labor Day weekend but also likes the fact that summer is over. Sara says the latter feeling is based on her childhood growing up on a farm.
