If You Received a Telemarketing Call For a Cruise You May Be Owed Money
If you received a telemarketing call about a cruise, you may be entitled to a check after a $12.5 million lawsuit.
Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Resort Marketing Group were sued for spamming people with pre-recorded telemarketing calls and violating the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
If you received a call, you could receive $300 per call, up to $900. Just check if your phone number is part of the settlement. Select "I have a claim number and I would liek to securely file a claim online." Then enter your phone number to see if you qualify.
The calls occurred between July 23, 2009 and March 8, 2014. All claims must be filed by November 3, 2017.
Tad and I have checked every number we can think of, including ones from other places we've lived, with no luck. That's just our luck.
Maybe your luck is better. A number of our listeners have found their number on the list.
