So far, thankfully much of central New York has been spared the wrath of Hurricane (now Super Storm) Sandy. But, watching reports on The Weather Channel and elsewhere, you can't help but hope that our friends, neighbors and relatives in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia, D.C., Western New York and all other areas that took the brunt of the storm are OK.

Nowadays, we're all connected. In the Greg "Splashin'" McShea family, we have nieces and cousins living in New York City and New Jersey, friends in Connecticut, and relatives in Florida, D.C. and traveling on the road.

In fact, we have a close family member who lives just three blocks from the dangling crane high atop that high rise building on West 57th Street in midtown Manhattan.

So, even if we were spared locally, we're all in this together and concerned about what's going on in the midst of the mayhem. Stay with us on the air at Big Frog 104, and click here for up-to-the minute storm related cancellations and information.
