Have A Happy And Safe Halloween Today

Happy Halloween! There will be lots of little trick or treaters out and about today, especially during the noon hour lunch break with kids parading around their school, 2:30 p.m. on when they get out of school, and from about 4:00 p.m. on through tonight. So, drivers please be aware that you may be seeing a lot of extra foot traffic today.

The kids will be excited and wearing cumbersome costumes, so they may not be as conscious of traffic when out on the trick or treat route. So again, please be aware of the little pedestrians today on your drive home from work.

For parents with kids, some safety tips:

1. It's always advised to go with your trick or treaters.

2. Make sure your trick or treaters have a flashlight or wear reflective clothing.

3. Instruct your kids not to eat the treats until they get home and you can check out the candies collected.
