Happy Bosses Day

Today is National Bosses Day.  Take a moment today recognized the man or woman who's in charge at the office and let us know who has the best boss.

National Bosses Day came about after an Illinois secretary registered the day with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 1958.  Four years later, Illinois Governor Otto Kerner officially proclaimed the day.

Despite grumblings the day was just a Hallmark holiday, Hallmark didn't offer a Boss's Day card until 1979.

National Boss's Day has become an international celebration in recent years and now is observed in countries such as Australia, India, South Africa, Ireland, the UK, and Egypt.
