Four New York Forest Rangers Honored by Glamour Magazine
In these tumultuous times you have to be careful how you say things. At the annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards, four New York Forest Rangers were honored; not for beauty, but for their heroic efforts.
The magazine's 27th annual event spotlighted women who are "game changers, rule breakers, and trailblazers." And while there was plenty of beauty and fashion to go around, looks and appearances didn't have anything to do with being honored.
Forest Rangers Aimee Bills, Corenne Black,Nancy Ganswindt, and Hannah O'Connor were recognized for helping fight the California Wildfires. They were part of a 20 person crew that spent 2 weeks in assisting with the fires and recovery efforts.
