Fly Your Flag Proudly Today On Flag Day [VIDEO]

YouTube

Today, June 14th is Flag Day, a day that we mark the anniversary of the adoption of the “Stars and Stripes” as the official flag of the United States by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. Although it is not an official federal holiday (it is a state holiday in Pennsylvania) Flag Day has a rich and colorful history.

Fly the flag proudly in front of your home or business and if you have any question regarding flag etiquette click here for a full rundown of rules and guidelines compliments of USFlag.org. Here is a musical Flag Day salute composed by the great John Phillips Sousa, “Stars and Stripes Forever”, as performed by the United States Marine Corps Band.
