Eaton Couple Building Their Dream Home on Hatch Lake [Pics & Video]

How nice would it be to wake up at camp or the vacation home on the lake every morning? Ken and Marybeth Masker will soon be doing it at their dream home on Hatch Lake in Eaton, NY. Take a look inside and out of the gorgeous lakefront home.

It's our final stop on our Let's Get Started tour with Curtis Lumber. This journey takes us to Eaton where KD Homes in Waterville is building a lakefront home for the Masker family on Hatch Lake. Owner, Dave Sullivan told us the same thing we've heard from most of the contractors on our visits, ordering almost anything from windows to doors to appliances is very difficult at this time. It hasn't slowed down their project though, Dave says they broke ground on April 1 and are still on schedule for a twelve week completion.

Even more amazing, Dave is doing it with not one hand tied behind his back, but with one in a sling and cast. He credits Cindy who he calls, "his right and left hand woman" with making it possible. KD Homes specialty is modular homes, they can set you up with a home and you do the rest, or like the Masker's beautiful home, redesign the inside to your specifications. It has a huge walk-in shower and closet with gorgeous wooden beams in the living room.

Polly got off easy working on this project, some painting and a ride in the lift to wash the top windows of the home. We also learned more about cell phone hijinks, when you send videos and pics to the cloud they don't always arrive. But thanks to the ambidextrous Cindy of KD Homes, we have excellent shots of the inside and outside of the home..
