It's been quite a trip for Darius "Hootie" Rucker. As lead singer of the pop group "Hootie and the Blowfish" Darius won a "Best New Artist" Grammy in 1996. He followed this by winning the CMA's "New Artist of the Year" award in 2009. Recently, Darius celebrated his one-year anniversary with the legendary Grand Ole Opry and released a video thank you.

Darius has his country career going full bore having recently scored his 6th number one with "Wagon Wheel" and a new single, "Radio" climbing the charts.
