Where Is the Cloudiest Place in New York

When it comes to the most cloud covered days in the U.S., one city in New York State makes the top 10 list.  The good news is it is not Utica, Rome, or even Syracuse.  According to Currentresults.com, Binghamton is the 8th cloudiest city in the country.  The city averages 212 cloudy days each year.

Another New York city nearly made the list.  Buffalo came in at number 11 with 208 days that are cloud covered.  Rochester ranks lower on the list with 200 cloudy days, and Syracuse averages 185 days without sun each year.

Topping the national list is Mt. Washington, New Hampshire, with 244 days on average that are cloudy.  That means that the sun appears only 33 percent of the time.

Which city the U.S. has the fewest cloudy days each year?  Yuma, Arizona has only 59  cloud covered days each year.
