Santa officially arrives in Utica November 21.  The GE Elfuns, Christmas on Main Street Committee and many volunteers present their 29th kickoff to the holiday season at the historic Union Station in Utica.  Click for Santa's arrival time and a full schedule of events.

Festivities begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 21 and concludes with the Grand Lighting Ceremony at historic Baggs Square at 5:00 p.m. and fireworks at 5:15.  Santa makes his grand entrance at 12:15 and there's plenty of activities all day.

There's free entertainment inside Union Station beginning at 10.  Performers will include; Kids for Utica with Puppets & Songs, Joe Angerosa, Butler-Sheehan Academy of Irish Dancers, Edelweiss Schuhplatter German Dancers, New Horizon Barbershop Chorus and Marabella Colon.

There's free Wagon Rides from 11 - 4, the Oneida County Farmers Market and Craft Fair runs from 9 - 5 and Scotty’s Train Rides for $1.

New this year is a "Breakfast with Santa" to benefit the Children's Museum. Tickets include a buffet breakfast, photo with Santa and admission to the museum all day, where they will be celebrating Christmas Around The World.  Visit 6 different countries with kids activities and treats.  Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for kids 12 and under.  For details call, 315-269-2931.
