CCE’s Child Care Council is One of CNY’s Spiciest Offices

A few days ago we started our search for CNY's "spiciest office."  We left the interpretation of what that meant, up to you.  The options were to tell us or show us.  Leave it to Ellen Olson with Cornell Cooperative Extensions' Child Care Council to do both.  

1st, Ellen told us with a cleverly written entry that compared their office to spices.  Here are some of the excerpts...

• we show our "spicy" in unique and wonderful ways. Like all the spices in the spice rack we each bring a unique and wonderful flavor to the office.
• some of us are spicy in a playful way! We work with children, the community and child care providers so we are Spicy and playful like Ginger!
• some of us are spicy in adventurous ways trying new foods: buffalo chicken anything, or new technology like drones and games like geocaching. Trying new things is spicy like cayenne pepper.
• finally, We are a great team! We all blend together in a wonderful spicy concoction like curry or General Tso's chicken.

When we showed up at her office with Wendy's new Spicy Sriracha Chicken Sandwich and Bacon Sriracha Fries for 10 people, she showed us.  Taking a look at the fries, she said, "Look at that Bacon."
