February 28, 2013 The newest You Tube sensation seems to be the mixing of popular songs with clips of screaming goats and then re-editing the artists' videos to hilarious effect. The latest mashup features a clip of Taylor Swifts "I Knew You Were Trouble" as you've never heard (or seen) it before.
Carrie Underwood was in rare form on Wednesday night (Feb. 27), stripped down for a bare bones and relaxed version of not only her hit songs, but herself -- just Carrie. The superstar traded designer gowns for a more casual black pants, light jacket look to join top country songwriters Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey and Josh Kear for a swap of songs, performed acoustically on a small Nashville stage in front of an intimate Country Radio Seminar (CRS) audience.

February 18, 2013 Back in 1983 I was working at a rock station in Ventura, California when the program director brought in a record (yes, in those days a record) and said, "You got to hear this". It was John Anderson's "Swingin", a huge country hit that actually crossed over on a lot of pop and rock stations. Now John and Colt Ford have put together a unique remake of this classic tune.

The Dixie Chicks and Nashville songwriter Stephony Smith should be looking forward to some nice royalty checks from the 1999 song 'Sin Wagon.' Never released as an official single, the song has gone on to be a long-term career song for the Chicks, and two different groups performed the track on 'American Idol' during group rounds on Wednesday night (Feb. 13).
