On September 12, 2016 at 11:30 am 9 year-old Colin Toland was sworn-in as the newest police officer for the Ithaca Police Department. Officer Toland took the oath of office in front of 150 fellow police officers, firefighters, and EMS workers. Officer Toland was joined by approximately 300 people from the greater Ithaca community as well as his entire 4th grade class at Northeast Elementary School

Jaida Marie Fancher was born January 27th, 2016 at Rome hospital. As soon as she was born, she was rushed to Syracuse. Mom and Dad had no time to really spend with her. She was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence and Cleft palate. Her family is in need of serious help financially with Baby Jaida battling this medical condition.
Legend has it that at the end of every rainbow is a magical pot of gold. The only problem nobody really knows how to actually arrive at the end of the rainbow. The one and only creature that has the knowledge to get that gold is a leprechaun. A 1st grade class in Camden realized if you catch the leprechaun, you get to the gold. So, they decided to set traps.
