May 5, 2011 Utica's Thursday night's are about to becoming party night's once again as the line-up for Saranac Thursdays has been announced. The weekly bash held in the Matt's Brewery Courtyard will begin on May 26 and continue right through September 15. Country music fans will be happy to know that two of the Thursday get togethers will feature hot country bands, Matt Chase and Thunder Canyon on June 16 and the Fulton Chain Gang on September 8. March 31, 2011 Taylor Swift has reached another milestone in her meteoric career. She has now sold 20-million CD's worldwide.
A giddy Swift was given a plaque commemorating the milestone before her sold-out concert Wednesday night at the O2 Arena."It's just sort of beyond my comprehension to get a plaque like that, and the fact the fans have done that much for me in such a short period of time is unreal, and I'm so excited and so thankful," she told The Associated Press after the presentation.
