If you were driving at any point during Stella, and now your car seems to be shaking at higher speeds, don't call the mechanic just yet.

According to auto expert John Paul at Lohud, the issue could very well be that the ice and snow have built up in the wheels and are causing the tires to be unbalanced.

This can be a minor steering wheel shake to feeling like the wheels are going to fall off the car. Once the snow melts off the wheels from the heat of the day the car should behave normally again. Some slightly obsessive drivers will go so far to take their snow brush and clean in between the spokes of the wheels to knock the snow and ice off."

If you clean the wheels and still notice an issue, your tires may have been damaged by the storm. You could always check in with your local car experts at Carbone and get the vehicle checked out.
