Dolgeville Schools Closed and Some Still Without Power in Central New York
The wind and ice storm that swept through Central New York this week is still impacting many in Oneida and Herkimer County. On Wednesday there were over 10,000 without power for most of the day. National Grid has worked to correct most of the issues, but some are still in the dark. One local school has even closed for the day.

Black Bear in New Hartford Neighborhood
A black bear has been spotted in a residential area of Higby Road in New Hartford. Christine Martin took a photo of the footprint left by the animal that was taking a winter stroll through her neighborhood. She spotted the bear in her back yard Tuesday night on Higby Road, near Mohawk Street.
Smoking in Cars with Kids Banned in Schenectady
Drivers who smoke in the City of Schenectady are no longer allowed to do so when a child is in the car. The City Council passed legislation for the ban on Tuesday night in a 5-1 vote.

Rome Priest Facing Abuse Allegations
The pastor of a church in Rome is being investigated for abuse of a minor. Fr. Paul Angelicchio is the pastor of St. John the Baptist and Transfiguration parish, and the diocese announced that the decision was made as a result of an allegation of abuse that has surfaced after 27 years.
Oneonta Teen Missing After Running Away from Job Corps
