What happened to Summer in central New York? It's almost over and all we've seen is wet, cool weather. Where's the heat? Its not coming anytime soon. Cooler temperatures are expected into the middle of August.

"The weather over the eastern two-thirds of the country has been influenced by a trough, or southward dip in the jet stream, for much of the summer, resulting in relatively cool and wet conditions in many areas. This pattern will continue into the second week of August with below-average temperatures," according to the Weather Channel.

There is sun in the forecast this afternoon and Wednesday, August 9th with temps in the mid to upper 70s. But the rest of the week has chances of rain every day and highs in the 70s.

This has to be one of the worst Summers in central New York. From flooding with all the rain and you could count the days on one hand we've enjoyed temperatures in the 80s.

Hopefully this means we'll get an Indian Summer. Any Summer at this point would be nice.
