John Cena Passes Through Utica Posts Photo on Instagram

One of the biggest names in the WWE is John Cena. Cena has Central New York residents talking about why he could have been in Utica. A post on his Instagram clearly shows a sign for the Utica exit on the New York State Thruway.

Many people on a Facebook thread are offering up their thoughts as to why the superstar could have possibly been in Central New York. Some say it is because the WWE was in Albany this weekend. Other say it's because he was in Syracuse. Many believe it is because there was an MMA event at Turning Stone.

Another possible explanation could be the mention of Utica in a recent episode of the YouTube series "The Death of Southpaw: Southpaw Regional Wrestling" on the WWE YouTube channel. Cena mentions the Central New York city at the 4:06 mark in the video below.
