A woman is hoping a thief has a change of heart or at least a conscience after stealing her purse that contained her late husband's ashes. Tammi Lohr-Fairfield of Cicero is offering a $1000 reward to get the ashes back. The ashes were in Fairfield's MK purse that she says was stolen from the Winds of Cold Springs Harbor Marina Tiki Bar in Baldwinsville Friday, August 4th. "I have already canceled my credit cards and reported along with some of the other items in it," she writes on Facebook. "However my husbands ashes were in a piece of jewelry in there and I would do anything to get that back."

Lennie Fairfield passed away from cancer. "He turned 40 on September 29th and died the next day, leaving me with a 14 year old son and 9 year old twins, says Tammi. "He was sick for 5 years so our twins don't really remember him ever well." Fairfield says she's not concerned about the money or anything else inside the purse. She's heartbroken over not having the ashes. "If you could somehow find it in your heart to get my husband's ashes back that would be wonderful."
