Woman Accidentally Drowns in Jacuzzi at Old Forge Hotel
On the surface drowning in a jacuzzi would sound nearly impossible. However, State Police say that is what the preliminary investigation indicates in the death of a New Jersey woman in the Town of Webb
Police were called to the Water’s Edge Inn in the town of Webb this past Monday afternoon, February 19. State Police and the town of Webb authorities were called after staff at the hotel entered a room because of a blaring smoke detector.
55year old Patricia Moschella of Freehold, New Jersey was found unresponsive in a jacuzzi bathtub. Police says it appears the woman "experienced a medical emergency" and may have lost consciousness. Autopsy results cited the cause of death as accidental drowning. The investigation is continuing.
