Who Is Big Smo And How Is He Changing Country Music? [VIDEO]

A new series is coming to the A&E network and it features a man who is not shy about mixing country with hip-hop. His name is Big Smo and his big show premieres soon! According to the A&E network website, Big Smo was born John Smith in Unionville, Tennessee. He has just recently been signed to Warner Bros. Records and has not only a passion for music but family. He has a new show coming to A&E this June.

Big Smo's music is based on two very different genres of music. His style is being dubbed "hick-hop." This style of music is causing friction amongst certain types of country fans and even artists. Either way, Big Smo is coming and in a big way.

Big Smo's new album is called "Kuntry Livin'" and is set to be released on June 3rd.
