Have you heard of a Shotski? It's shot glasses built into a snow ski and it's apparently a thing in central and upstate New York.

The Wigwam Tavern in Forestport, New York is well known for their Shotskis thanks to the Cicero Fire Department. "They come every year and bring us one on their way to firemen’s weekend in Old Forge in September," says owner Nancy Youngberg.

The Shotskis at the Wigwam began 7 or 8 years ago. "The first one had 5 spots for shots but the end of it broke, so we kind of retired that one," says Nancy. "All the other ones have 4 spots for shots. The guys also brought the bartender and I a special one with only 3 spots and it that says drink with Nancy & Rayna."

It's tradition to sign and date the ski after you take the shot. "One has a message on the bottom, so as you tip it up to drink the shot you see it," says Nancy who's owned the Wigwam for 30 years.
