We're hoping Mother Nature shines down on FrogFest 31 at the Utica/Rome Speedway today, however there is a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms. So what happens if bad weather hits?

We have several procedures in place to help keep you safe if bad weather hits during FrogFest. Eye Witness News meteorologist Colleen Hurley is on standby today. We also have weather monitoring equipment that we'll keep a close eye on. As well as alerts, warning us of any dangerous weather in the vicinity.

If lightning strikes with 6-8 miles or wind speeds reach 30mph, we will make an announcement from the FrogFest stage, asking everyone to evacuate the Speedway and head to their cars. We will make another announcement on our social media pages and the Big Frog 104 app when it's safe to return.
