We’ll Take Central New Yorkers For $1000 Alex

The two-week-long Jeopardy Teachers Tournament begins this week and features an educator who calls Central New York Home.

Rachel Niegelberg, a special education teacher at Watkins Glen Elementary School is one of the 15 teachers from across the country who will compete for $100,000.

The winner of the Teachers Tournament will also get to return to the show later this year for their Tournament of Champions.

The Jeopardy Teachers Tournament kicks off tonight(5/7) at 7 p.m. on NBC.

There is no word as to exactly when Niegelberg will appear.
