Utica native Alexandria Corn has come a long way since appearing at our Texaco Country Showdown in Sylvan Beach in 2010. She moved to L.A. a year ago to start her music career and today she debuts her first single 'Say it Again.'

Moving from small town Utica, New York to the big city was quite the culture shock. "It's completely differently. It's not as glamorous as everyone makes it out to be. I've had a great expereince and met wonderful people there and I'm grateful for that," says Corn who always wanted to live in L.A.. "After high school I moved out for there for college to study for a semester and did a few internships, kind of feeling out the music industry."

We just started throwing out ideas and one of us said something and someone else said 'say that again.' We all looked at each other and thought 'that's it. Let's call it that.''

After testing out the pop industry Corn decided to go country. She debuts her new single 'Say it Again' and let us be the first to share the video that was recorded in Bakersfield "I wanted a more country vibe and it's hard in L.A. Not a big country scene out there. It came out really great and I'm excited to share it."

Corn says she wrote 'Say it Again' with two Nashville songwriters while on Skype. "We just started throwing out ideas and one of us said something and someone else said 'say that again.' We all looked at each other and thought 'that's it. Let's call it that.''

'Say it Again' is about a high school relationship of two best friends who are secretly in love with each other but don't know how to say it. "Really it's a song about going back to the moment of the best time in your life," says Corn

Corn has been travelling back and forth from L.A. to Nashville the past few months and says she fell in love with the lifestyle. "I might as well break the news. I'm actually leaving for Nashville in May. I miss the small town vibe. I'm not a city person."
