Central New York, the village of Clinton needs your help. They are looking for support on a Rink Lighting Upgrade.

This is a contest that Clinton, and arenas from all over America and Canada are involved in. Currently, the Clinton arena is in the top 33 of all arenas in America and Canada to win a lighting upgrade.

Currently we are in 7th place (other rings are not far behind) please go to this link and vote! (Clinton Arena in the Box labeled affiliate).

Voting can be done every 24 hours. This year Clinton will be celebrating it's 100th year of hockey. It all started on an outdoor Arena in the heart of the village. The original Arena was built in 1948, then burnt down in 1953. The community rallied together under the guidance of Mr. Stanley and built another Arena in just 4 months.

The Clinton Arena opened in Jan. 1954 with a Clinton Comets vs. Cornwall Falcon game. The Clinton Arena is the original home of the EHL's Comets. Today it is the "hockey home" for the Clinton High Schools varsity Boy's and Girl's teams, Clinton Comets Youth Hockey organization, The Bobcats a girls hockey organization, men's leagues and senior league hockey. The Clinton Arena is also home of the oldest figure skating club in the United States. Skating is the cornerstone of our community!"

Again, show your support and VOTE.
