Video of Storm That Tore Down Barn Silo and Roof Off Greenhouse Gala in Waterville

The storm that rolled through central New York tore down trees, power lines, a barn roof and destroyed a popular wedding venue.

Anthony Witchley drove through the damage as he tried to get home Tuesday, August 22nd, passing Gerry Elliott's farm on Mason Road in Waterville and Greenhouse Gala.

Many brides are now scrambling to find a new place for their wedding. No word on when Greenhouse Gala will be back open for business.

Waterville wasn't the only area in central New York hit by the storm. Rick Crowell captured a time lapse of the storm rolling through Hamilton, New York.

The National Weather Service will have crews in the area to determine if a tornado actually touched down.

Although tornadoes aren't common in central New York, one tore through the Vernon/Verona area in June.
