Racing and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day will have to wait at the Utica Rome Speedway.

Mother Nature put a damper on Friday night racing and 4th of July Fireworks at the Utica Rome Speedway. The July 2nd celebration is a rainout and has been canceled.

Racing will resume next Friday, July 9 and the fireworks have been rescheduled for the same night.

All tickets purchased in advance and any tickets won on Big Frog 104 will be good for the July 9 festivities.
