Upstate Police Officer Saves Chicken From Fire

In Upstate New York, we truly have some of the best boys in blue. Recently, a New York police officer from the Hudson Valley saved a chicken from dying in a fire.

LoHud reports that body cam video released by the Ossining police shows Officer Patrick McGovern responding to a shed fire when he found the chicken:

He removed some propane tanks when he discovered the chicken. The bird clucks as the officer carries the bird to safety. McGovern told the owner, "I got your chicken." "
