It seems Tony Stewart can't avoid staying out of trouble. Once again he is being put into the negative spotlight for an incident that occurred between he and an off-duty police officer who was heckling him at the 2016 Chili Bowl Racing Event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Police are currently investigating the incident.

According to the Associated Press via Syracuse.com,

The confrontation happened Friday night at the weeklong Chili Bowl dirt-track racing event at the Tulsa Expo Center.

The heckler was Cpl. Kyle Hess with the sheriff's office, the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office said. Sheriff's Deputy Justin Green said the investigation likely will finish after the weekend and his office is expected to release a statement then.

It's not uncommon to see Tony Stewart at smaller, non-NASCAR related, functions or events. The only problem is that he seems to not be able to keep himself out of trouble or his temper under control. It is not expected that charges will be filed against the 44-year-old driver or the off-duty officer.
