Today: Enjoy Chocolate-Covered Raisins

Here's a food where you can enjoy the best of both worlds...well, for some (I know a few people who don't raisins whether they're covered in chocolate or not). You mix the deliciousness of chocolate and add a little bit of health food--the raisin. And, there you have it, a perfect snack food. So, today, celebrate because it's National Chocolate-Covered Raisins Day.  I, personally, love chocolate covered raisins--so, today is a good day.

According to Wikipedia:

"In some countries, they are also known as Raisinets, which is the earliest and one of the most popular brands of the product, currently made by Nestlé. Raisinets are the third-largest selling candy in United States history. Raisinets were introduced in the United States in 1927 by the Blumenthal Chocolate Company. Nestlé acquired the brand in 1984. A large number of other brands also exists. A popular brand in the UK is Paynes Poppets which are sold in small boxes."
