I'm still full this morning from last night's Pig Out with Polly at Tin Rooster. You'd think I'd learn not to eat so much every time we go. The problem is, everything is so good you just can't stop. The other problem is the food never stops coming out of the kitchen. I don't even order anymore.

Out first is the Polly platter, with all my favorites. Fried shrimp, jalapeno poppers, that were HOT, fried green tomatoes and deep fried pickles. Then comes the bean dip, that isn't even on the menu. Since the chef knows it's one of my favorites, they make it special. Last night we also enjoyed turkey sliders, smoked apple cider and fried mac & cheese, which disappeared first.

Everything at the Tin Rooster is fresh and local and you can tell. Try it for yourself by enjoying dinner anytime Wednesday through Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at noon. See their full menu at Turning Stone.

There's more than great food at the Tin Rooster. At the top of every hour, the rooster crows and the staff takes center stage for a line dance. We joined in but it's easy to tell who's had practice and who hasn't.

After your meal, you can dance off all that food. No you don't have to join the dancing waiters, you can enjoy live entertainment from local country bands Thursday through Saturday nights, starting at 10.

Sign up to win a $50 Tin Rooster gift card and join us for the next Pig Out with Polly, Thursday November 20th at 6pm.
