Hot fun in the summertime won't be around for a whole lot longer, and that's why we're giving you some must do's before summer is through.

Ice Creaming

Wouldn't it be nice if the ice cream stands stayed open all year round? Then again, if they did, summer wouldn't be such a special time of the year right? We love our favorite ice cream places in Central New York, but if you don't get there soon, you may be out of luck. Here's 5 of our favorite's: Ice Cream Factory, Tasty Treats, Nicky Doodles, Voss's, and here's Naomi Lynn enjoying a giant cone from Dave's Diner.

Beach Bumming

Soak up the sunshine while it lasts, and head out to see the sand and seagulls. Most of Central New York's beaches close just after Labor Day, so pack up the mini-van, a picnic lunch, and the little ones, and go make a day of it.

 Concert Going

There are great concerts year round in Central New York, but summer is prime time when it comes to fantastic shows. The Great New York State Fair in Syracuse is hosting a slew of awesome bands: Toto, Air Supply, and Chicago to name a few. Click HERE for the complete Chevy Court State Fair Lineup.
