The Soda Fountain Serves Up Bread Pudding at Epicurean Delight
It's time for Epicurean Delight to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care. The annual fundraiser returns for the 30th year at Hart's Hill in Whitesboro April 30th from 5 to 8. Tad and Polly also return as this year's honorary chair couple and The Soda Fountain is back, serving up bread pudding.
The infamous brownie sundae will also be back this year. In addition to the desserts you can also enjoy homemade staples from the Soda Fountain. "Every Friday we serve homemade clam chowder and we'll have that as well as our homemade chili we serve everyday," says Steve Boucher. "It's a staple at the Soda Fountain."
The Soda Fountain has been a part of Epicurean Delight for several years. Boucher says it's one organization they don't think twice about supporting. "The Mohawk Valley is known for rallying around great causes and this is right up there. Hospice, what they do for families, you can't put a price on it. It's a no brainer. We call them every year to ask when we can join."
Boucher enjoys seeing everyone every year. "The public is the real winner. They get to eat at every restaurant and they give their money to a great cause."
In addition to the great food served at Epicurean Delight, there is an auction with several items up for bid, including jewelry, wine and home décor.
