If you spend more of the spring and summer time in the garden than in the house, you're well on the road to becoming a Master Gardener at Cornell Cooperative Extension. Here's how to complete the trip.

As a Master Gardener Volunteer you'll use your gardening knowledge along with new horticultural skills taught by Cornell's experts to help others in Central New York through educational outreach. You'll also get the opportunity to work within the botanical gardens at CCE's Oriskany Street offices and field calls on the Horticultural Hotline.

If this sounds like you, there's a meeting that explains more on Tuesday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m. at the Extension Office. RSVP to Terri Harrison, Horticulture Assistant at 315 736-3394 ext. 168 e-mail tah223@cornell.edu by Monday, October 16th. There's also more details at CCE's website.
