Memorial Day

It's as much a Memorial Day Weekend tradition as cook outs, the annual St Paul's Church Bazaar and Parish Festival.  There's amusement rides, great food and games in Whitesboro all weekend.  Click for the schedule and a video tour of the midway.

A Remsen teen wants to cover the front lawn of the Remsen Central School with American Flags this Memorial Day. It's all part of a community project called 'Remsen Remembers.'

Memorial Day means a three day long weekend, but it's actually a day of remembering the men and women who died while in uniform.  It typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, but lets not forget those who fought for our freedom.
