"AAA’s Ed Welsh says they’re predicting 34.8 million Americans will travel 50 miles of more from home during the Memorial Day weekend, a modest increase over last year.

Welsh says motorists will be paying about 12 cents a gallon less than they were at this time last year.

The average price in the Utica-Rome market is $3.82 a gallon. That’s down 3 cents a gallon in the last three days."
