Kane Buss, the Oneida teen killed in a tragic car accident, was remembered this weekend. After he was laid to rest, the community came together for a lantern ceremony.

Kane Buss had dreams of being a police officer. He was set to graduate college in May and enroll in the police academy. Those dreams were cut short when he was tragically killed in a car crash. To honor his memory, the Oneida City Police Department made him an honorary officer.

Kane Buss, who was tragically killed in a car accident was 'a passionate and dedicated leader, a true friend, an amazing son and brother, and an avid sneaker collector.' His memory will now live on with the Kane Buss Football Scholarship Fund.
