After three performances, who is the next American Idol? Jena Irene, the judges wild card choice and Caleb Johnson, the rocker who's tried out three times left their heart and soul on the stage. Caleb made Steven Tyler proud with with Aerosmith's 'Dream On,' while Jena brought chills with Elvis' 'Can't Help Falling in Love.'

Then there were two. But who will be the next American Idol? Before Ryan Seacrest announced the final two, Scotty McCreery returned to the Idol stage to perform 'Feelin' It.'

American Idol celebrated its 500th episode as the Top 3 performed three songs; one chosen by Randy Jackson, one judges pick and their own choice. Caleb Johnson had the moment of the night, despite vocal problems, during his performance of Led Zepplin's 'Dazed & Confuse,' slamming the mic stand, getting a standing ovation from Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban.
