The Eli Young Band are nominated once again for a CMA Award for Vocal Group of the Year, a category they've been named in every year since 2012 but have yet to win. But the four-man group says being nominated really is validation enough.

The new Nicholas Sparks movie 'The Best of Me' has the best of country music.  Lady Antebellum has not one but two songs, with 'I Did with You' featured in the trailer. Thomas Rhett, Thompson Square, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, Hunter Hayes, Eli Young Band, David Nail and Eric Paslay are among stars with new music on the movie soundtrack.

It's not every day you see Country artists perform on Late Night television shows. It does happen obviously and when it does it's always exciting. The latest group to do it was The Eli Young Band. They were on "The Late Show with David Letterman." The song they did is their latest single "Dust."

This fall, Eli Young Band will hit the road for their 2013 Drunk Last Night Tour. After a summer opening for Kenny Chesney, the EYB guys are more than ready to play a series of headlining shows.

After a great first run in Nashville last year, the Southern Ground Music and Food Festival will return to Music City September 27-28, 2013. Of course, Zac Brown Band will be back with a host of friends from country music and other genres to make this year's sensory experience even better.

Kenny Chesney announced another 28 dates to his No Shoes Nation Tour today.  Back in early December we learned of a show March 21 at the Albany Times Union Center.  Now comes news of a summer stop in Central New York.

Congratulations are in order for Eli Young Band's Jon Jones, who welcomed his first child -- a boy named Hudson Lennon Jones -- on Dec. 31 just outside of Fort Worth, Texas.
