Members of the community are coming together to back the families during such a difficult time - and you can help.

We first heard about Deb's story back in August. We were promoting her benefit planned to assist her with medical costs associated with the horrific disease, ALS. She and many other members of her family have been diagnosed with this debilitating illness, and some have passed away. On top of all of that, she is now suffering in more ways than imaginable.

On January 17th, Jim Schon of Central New York suffered a stroke caused by undetected atrial fibrillation. After an extended stay in the St. Luke's Intensive Care and Acute Care Units, medical bills are pilling up and the family needs your help.

The event will take place on February 15th to raise money for the African Children's Choir.

In February, the Minckler family took a nice vacation to escape the cold weather and enjoy each other's company. While on their trip, they got word that something tragic had happened. The family's home in Vernon had burnt to the ground destroying everything including their beloved pets. Update: The Family of Baby Lilyana White had decided to cancel the benefit for Baby Lilyana who is home now from the hospital after suffering from Shaken Baby Syndrome. The family has informed me that Lilyana is blind, is having seizures, and they feel it's best to focus on taking care of her. The family definitely appreciates everything you have done so far to help them.

On Tuesday, July 8, a tornado with speeds of 100-125 miles per hour touched down in Smithfield, New York. Four people were killed in the disaster, the second most for one tornado in history. An outpour of support came from community members across New York State, asking for ways to help.
