
Stella Dumping More Snow than Expected in Central New York
Winter storm 'Stella' is packing quite a punch. Central New York will see more snow than originally expected. The Winter Storm Warning from the National Weather Service remains in effect until Wednesday night.
...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM WEDNESDAY...
* LOCATIONS...Central New York.
* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulation of 14 to 24 inches.
* TIMING...Snow will continue heavy at times through much of the day today before diminishing to lighter snow and snow showers tonight. Snow showers will continue through Wednesday with strong winds continuing to cause very hazardous travel conditions. Expect white out conditions in open areas and possible power outages.
The storm has Governor Cuomo issuing a State of Emergency for all 62 counties in New York. All non-essential state employees don't have to report to work and everyone is being encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel.
Thank God Spring is next week. Did someone tell Mother Nature?
