State Police Looking to Identify Man Who Offered a Child a Ride in Central New York

Do you recognize this man or the car? Police are looking for him after someone reported a man asking a child if they wanted a ride.

The 'suspicious incident' occurred March 22nd on 7th street in the town of Salina. The New York State Police in North Syracuse say around 3:00 p.m., a white male driving a gray Nissan Versa approached a child walking on 7th north street and offered her a ride.

State Police are asking for help with identifying this man who is described as a white male with short dark hair, a colorful tattoo on his right forearm and he smokes cigarettes.
