Man And Woman Shot And Killed In Deerfield

State Police say a man and a woman are dead after being shot in a home on Walker Road in Deerfield.

Police were called to the residence just before 3:00 Tuesday afternoon for a reported home invasion.

The woman died at the scene while the man was taken by a private vehicle to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he died.

Troopers have a suspect in custody.

Deerfield Elementary School was placed on lockout as police searched for a suspect.
